hey guys~
just then i went to the emergency dentist to check my tooth coz i had a terrible toothache. (on the top of the very right hand side) but the pain is not open my tooth. its also feel painful on the right of my nose. just below my right eye, and recently ive beening having a temporary headache on my right side of my head. and just last week i had a little bit of flu, not a serious one i told the doc my case, he said that my teeth are fine, it cant be da wisdom tooth becoz its still in the bones, he said it could be the temple arteries. and that really scared me coz ive had several headaches or magrains recently and my right eye hurts too.......is this serious?....is it fatal if there is a problem with da temple arteries?....only for serious yahooers
Hey guys~please give me suggestions to wats u thinks its goin on~this is really scaring me?
I can see three scenarios that are possible: maxillar sinusitis, inflamation of the temporal artery and possibly just migraine.
1. the inflamation of the sinus that is in the bone between your eye and upper jaw is the most likely it can be ruled out by an xray and easily terated by antibiotics (Sumamed, or azithromycine is best)
2. temporal arteriitis is also possible, it is not a life threatening disease, treated with anti-inflamatory drugs like ibuprofen, apinkillers like paracetamol and only in th emost severe case by steroids.
3. migraine is also not life threatening but not so easile cured, in fact the propensity to suffer from migraines is inherited and as you grow older it might be occuring more or less often, butthere still can be another time. It can be treated, with pills that open up the vessels that are in cramp causing the pain, but they dont work 100% and every time.
So, just calm down and dont forget to clear up the possibility of sinusitis.
All the best...
Reply:Whoa, hold on...take a dep breath. First off, go to a regular doctor...the one not in the emergency room. That way he can hear you out and isn't in a hurry. Take a pain reliever to see if the pain goes away. It's reallt hard to help you online, when we can't see or examine you, so go see a doc.
Reply:Hi...I wouldn't worry too much. I would suggest you go to your regular Doctor. You may have a sinus infection, or you may have allergies. You can get allergies at any time, and may not have a history of them. That would make your face, and head hurt. You may need antibiotics, if it is a sinus infection, and you will feel better within a day or two. Don't worry sweetie!!!
Reply:You should go to a good Doctor. I had a similar problem and I had to go to several Doctors until someone finally listened to me and sent me off to get an xray and brain scan. Okay I'm not saying you've got the same thing but it sounds similar. They found that I had a polyp in my right sinus cavity and I was in extreme pain and it felt like someone was hammering a nail into the right side of my forehead. I was really sick it was horrible.
But please don't panic go see a good Doctor and get yourself checked out. You'll feel so much better when you find out what it is.
Okay, don't give up till you get a satisfactory answer.
Reply:it could be sinus. blocked or irritated sinuses. when i get it ifeel like flu symptoms with pain in my nose and eye area. try some sinus relief medication or i find perfumes cause the problem to come on quickly.
