Tooth extraction.?

I had a tooth out on monday at an emergency dentist because im not registared, ive had 4 stitches and im pretty sure he packed it!


I know the stitches are disolvable but i was wonderering if he's packed it how dose the packing get out?? im sure i can feel it in there.


dose it fall out or disolve??

He may or may not have placed a packing material in the socket prior to sutures, but if so, it will also dissolve on its own.

Reply:some can disolve , but others need to be cut out , depends on which stitches the dentist put in
Reply:I had 4 teeth extracted at the same time so my mouth felt like it was full of stitches. They were there for almost a week, some of them disolved and some fell out.
Reply:ouch!!! i HATE the dentist cause when i was little my dentists man really really hurted me (not like it was his fault) but i have i thing now where my mom can look at my teeth and she can send away pictures of my teeth so if they are bad then they put me 2 sleep!! But i could never go awake!!!!! cause i'm 2 scared!!





And i've been told that it should disovle!

Reply:Some can be dissolved but some has to be removed by dentist usually after ONE week ... if your dentist had used the second type he /she would ask you to come back after a week ...Dissolving time is different and takes few days more sometimes
Reply:It is probably a packing material to help heal the bone and yes it will disolve..Don't worry too much about it. Just don't mess with it
