In the State of IL are dentists required by law to have an after hours emergency number. Just curious as mine doesn't %26amp; I've heard some people say they are %26amp; some say they arent.

I'm not aware that having one is a "law", but I would never even think about not having one for my patients. And if I were a patient I wouldn't go to a dentist that didn't have one.
