Should i go to dentist or emergency room?

I did i dumb thing I snapped an abesce inside my mouth It was gross flew all over the bathroom mirror. now it wont stop bleeding should I go to dentist in the morning or emergency room tonight the swelling has now shut my right eye please help

Go see the dentist. He will prescribe antibiotics to control the infection and make you an appointment to deal with the infected tooth later- likely in about a week. He will also be able to help with the bleeding. He'll also be able to give you something for pain.

Reply:Go to a good 'University Hospital' that has a 'dental school' and a 'medical school' ... and tell them that you 'broke an abcess' and that it is 'bleeding' and that your eye is swelling shut. GO NOW to the emergency room!
Reply:If the swelling has got to your eye, and its still bleeding, you should definitely go to the emergency room. You want to still be able to see to get there!

Never mess with infections in your mouth. Like one of the other responders pointed out, they are really bad. They can even spread into your bloodstream which could lead to sepsis.
