How long it take for a dentist to call back an emergency page after hours?

Usually within 15 minutes.... but it shouldn't take any more than 30............

If the message was left with an answering service, then they have to call him directly, give the info, and then the call will be returned...

If the message was sent to the dentist directly, via a page, then it should be a shorter call-back time....

Hope everything is ok.........

If they are not busy in a proceedure, or dead asleep, or feel like being high and mighty, they usually return the call within 15 to 30 minutes. that's why they have the emergency pager. If they don't call back, go to a hospital that has dentistry available 24 hrs a day.
Reply:They have a responsibility to phone you just as soon as they receive the page. Failure to do so can cause them to have their paging privileges (and often hospital privileges) REVOKED.

Additionally, failure to respond immediately can put a patient as risk. This poses a huge legal liability for the non-responsive dentist.

Dentists who do not respond immediately should be reported to their licensing body and to the local hospital. They are putting patients in need at risk.
Reply:Twice half the time
