Does a dentist have medical knowledge?

Do you feel a dentist has medical knowledge? I hear some states now require dentists to do rotations in internal medicine, emergency medicine and anethesiology or something. Do they really have medical knowledge?

Does a dentist have medical knowledge?
Do bears live in the woods? Yes that's why dentists are called Doctor
Reply:Yes! certainly, a dentist will have a medical knowledge. But onlyl to the extent of it is required to his subject. he will study all the fundamentals. Do remember that dental is part of Medicine.
Reply:Look, to be a dentist you have to take four years of dental school as well as have a Bachelor's degree. Many have Bachelor's degrees in pre-med.

Some courses taken in dental school are: anatomy, microbiology, biochemistry, and physiology.
Reply:Yes they do. Why is this question in politics?
Reply:They most certainly do and especially so in the case of an oral surgeon. Part of dentistry school requires dissection of the upper body. The human oral cavity isn't just a hole in the front of your head.... it's also connected to the ears nose and throat and there are so many nerves and diseases that inter-react. Surely you're aware of the fact that Both dentists and oral surgeons utilize anesthesia.
