Cracked tooth need help?

A couple of hours ago, i banged my chin on the sink, it wasnt hard, but it chipped my front tooth slightly. Bits of the tooth kept coming off, and now half the tooth is gone. I look ridiculous. Luckily, its the holidays so i dont have to worry about school, but my mom cant find a local emergency dentist. And since its sunday tomorrow, im going to have to wait until monday, then my mom is going to phone my dentist and ask for an emergency appointment. She says that they will just add the extra bit off the tooth back on with a cap or something, and everything will be fine.

Im really worried, what do i need to do?

Depending o nthe damage your dentist will grind of any part that may continue to chip off; he/she may have to put a crown on it.

That kind of accidental damage leaves the roots intact so there is nothing to worry about. Enjoy your Christmas and see a dentist after Christmas.
Reply:Go to your dentist and he will probably shave, or fill in the tooth. I know many people who have chipped their tooth and they all got it fixed that way.
