EMERGENCY PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!! please answer!?

I might have a infection in my gums or tooth...i do not have a dentist and not a lot of dentists except my insurance i have Mass Health ..If i do have a infection and i can't see a dentist on time can i just use salt and warm water ???? I do not have peroxide ! Also this is my symtoms ..I have itchy irrated gums near one tooth kinda in the front of my mouth on the bottom ! What do you think ..can i use the warm and salt water ..Please answer ! Thanks !








ALSO: It doesn't really hurt it kinda more like a irrated feeling and itch ~ Please answer ..is it going to get into my blood stream ..am i going to die ....Its been going on now for a week ! Please help !

Dear, sounds like you have Pyrea, a gum disease that causes you to lose your teeth, go to google and try to find a free clinic in your area, go there, they know where the free dentists are, and you really need to see one. My husband had this when he was ten and he lost all his upper teeth, had to have them pulled because they were so badly infected.


There has to be a clinic near you.

Reply:if you are in alot of pain, call your MD or go to the nearest ER. You can try the warm salt water by rinsing and swishing.





Then on Monday, call your insurance company and ask them to give you a list of which DDS accept your type of insurance or go to their website and locate a DDS near you and get an appt. STAT.
Reply:A warm salt water rinse will work for a bit along with ibuprofen for the pain (if there is any). If you can brush and floss then do it as much as you can tolerate it especially after eating. This will help to keep the area as clean as possible to help prevent the infection or abscess from getting worse. I would still get to the dentist as soon as possible. If all else fails go to your regular doctor or the emergency room. If it gets really painful you can even ice it or put heat on it (whichever seems to be helping) your mouth will let you know what it can or can't tolerate. Try to get some listerine or peroxide as well to rinse with. Good Luck!! : )
Reply:Honey you won't die but you really need to find a Dentist to see what the problem is. He will see just what kind of gum problems you have. Warm salt water will sooth the area but will not heal the problem. A number of visits with your hygienist will help and really you sound like its been a long time since you have seen a hygienist or if ever. Oral health is just important and physical health.
