PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ANSWER!!!!!!! EMERGENCY !thanks~?
it could be your wisdom teeth coming in

or it could be sinus's
Reply:Sounds like an infection..

You should get it checked out just in case,

if infections get worse.. well i dont want to worry you,

Just get it checked.
Reply:i don't think that it is really an emergency. there are several causes why a gum swells. poor hygiene is one, and also when you brush the toothbrush or the way you clean your teeth might be too hard or harsh for your gums. but you should also see your dentist for a regular checkup of your teeth...
Reply:It could be you wisdom teeth but it could also be an abscess. If it gets real painful you need to find someone, and if you taste a BAD taste in your mouth it's definitely an abscess! Good luck
Reply:to be honest -- I went to the dentist a year ago after a long weekend in pain from the same thing ---- when I got in they told me that I could have died and sent me in for immediate surgery to get it drained ----- the bacteria/infection enters your bones and then hardens --- when it reaches your brain you're dead ----- this can happen within a couple days --- if you notice some swelling, especially if it hardens, get it checked out by an emergency doctor IMMEDIATLY ----- antibiotics will not do, you may need steroids but they're hard to get from someone who doesn't understand the seriousness of your situation ----- this just may be an emergency ---- you be the judge
Reply:umm... insurance.... that is a sticky situation. But can you really afford to mess with your health. I would go with seeing someone ASAP. I think both are the situation, it could be an emergency but also to stay calm. If there are emergency dental places in your area I would try to get in tomorrow, saturday, if at all possible. let me know how it turns out. brwneyes30_04@yahoo.com
