Wisdom tooth help...ASAP?

I got my last 2 wisdom teeth extracted 5 days ago (Thurs.) All went well and then tonight I started screwing with my bottom gums and thought it would be ok since it's healed, but I started bleeding a lot. At first I stopped it with gauze but whenever I went to bed, it would start bleeding again. Now the bleeding isn't stopping at all and I've been up all night. Should I wait it out or go to an emergency 24hr dentist?

Wisdom tooth help...ASAP?
go get it checked out and stop screwing with the wounds.

it could lead to possible infection.
Reply:Keep biting down on the gauze....it should eventually stop completely.
Reply:Until you decide what you are going to do.. take vitamine C or drink orange juice....sometimes it stops other forms of bleeding ????
Reply:You broke the little bubble of blood that needs to be in the gums for it to heal. You should be OK for now, but call your dentist's office to make sure.
Reply:Stop playing with the wound. Normally, a gum would stop bleeding immediately so I think it got infected. You better see the dentist.
Reply:Keep pressure on it with the guaze. After a while your blood will start to clot and it will stop bleeding. I would not rush to a dentist unless it starts gushing, which I don't think it will/ When it DOES stop, do not mess with it anymore for at least a couple of days. Even be careful when you brush.
