My 2nd from back tooth was pulled out on the 13/2/08 and a part of the tooth was left still in the gum.?

its the lower jaw 2nd from the back and had a crown on top but under the crown the tooth was beyond repair.i had already been to see a hospital late 07 but was told to go back to my local dentist.two days later after my tooth was pulled out ''15/2/08'' i went back and told them i was still in a lot of pain and the dentist said it will loosen its way to the surface and the gum had become infected and gave me 9 antibiotic tablets to take for the infection.all weekend i was in pain and taking 2 pain killers every 3 hours or so.18/2/08 i went back and had to now wait for emergency appointment with the same clinic different dentist and the lady was shocked to see how cut my lips where and mouth.she also said the tooth should never had been left like that in a dry socket in the gum. she tried hard to get the last bit out but could only get some of it out and could see still a little bone in there.she said the infection was now bad and gave me 20 antibiotic-Clindamycin.please can you help me

Was this a regular dentist? You need to see an oral surgeon right away.
Reply:Threaten the dentist with legal action if he doesn't remove the rest of the tooth and provide you with free medication and pain killers. He should be reported to your local dentists' association.
Reply:Feel very bad for you. Teeth are the most painful to deal with. Too bad you can't come to America. Horrible thing to happen to you.
