HElP! im in so much pain.?

ineed a molar pulled like rihjt now. itss infected im sure, its broken. everything i drink ot put in my mouth is going right to the nerve.its been about 3 wks or so since it started. my question is: i do not have health insurance and if i go to the emergency room, can they help? is there usualy a dentist there? im in a very tight bind financialy, i have 2 kids, %26amp; im in an abusive marriage that im tryin to get out of, i say this cuz he doesnt want me to work %26amp; we just cant afford to go to a dentist. im dying in pain. i am taking like 1600 mgs of ibubrophen every 3 hrs. its not helping anymore. should i go to the e.r? i dont know what else to do.

go to the emergency room it`s all right you know there good expert i had the same problum too but not im better because of the emergency room

This is Lolly and we have typed to each other before. I hope your other problems we discussed are getting rectified. I know it's hard but you can do it. I am so sorry to not have answered sooner as I have been through that kind of pain many times. The ER will do nothing except to tell you to go to a dentist. You can call an emergency dental clinic that should take you but they are usually located in an inner city. They just pull the tooth and that's it. They don't do other dental work. Look in your phone book. You need to be on an antibiotic right away. That's way too long to suffer with that. I think if you even called the Welfare they could give you the number of a place too. There are some free clinics out there. You are overdosing on ibuprophen. I know how bad the pain is but do not do this . It is dangerous take it properly. You can use some whiskey or oral gel to rub on your gums and around the tooth or take a clove and let it sit on top of the tooth for awhile. Make sure you get an antibiotic. The infection can even go to your heart. I feel badly for you and you DO need help ASAP. Good luck and I care. I hope this helps you. Tylenol #3 with codeine didn't even help me. I do have insurance and I think it's an atrocity that anyone that lives in the USA should be turned down anywhere for healthcare. I hope that changes when we get a new President.


I am still waiting on eye surgery. I had an abrasion on top of all the problems and that has to heal. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I pray that you got some help by now.
Reply:You need to grab the kids and go to a shelter. STOP taking all that ibuprophen. You'll get liver damage or worse..... If you go to a shelter, they will help you get medical/ dental attention.
