I lost mine when I moved away for a while, and now I cannot get in anywhere. Recently needed emergency treatment which will only last a short time, so what am I supposed to do? This country is diabolical.
How many of you in the uk haven't got a dentist?
I know its shocking isn't it. I had the same trouble. you need to wait on a dentist to start taking on new national health patients. I finally got one after a year but by then i needed root treatment. If i had got one sooner this would never have been necessary so its cost more than if i had got one when my tooth first became a problem.
Reply:i don't and if i was in jail i would get one...
Reply:I don't have one either. This country has gone to the dogs, I'm afraid.
Reply:My teeth getting worse each year ,dont like dentist, think they should have done more advanced research(drop few less bombs pay for it)..Still been to few and either had quote for 12K,or get some uncomfortable ****..My teeth fecked now, pisses me off..
Reply:I once went 19 years without visiting a dentist. Mainly because I couldn't be bothered. When i finally went to one I didn't need any treatment anyway, so even that was a waste of time.
Reply:my stepbrother never brushes his teeth he looks like he has spent money to have veneers he went for a check up after 15 years and the dentist didn't even need to clean them i brush my teeth twice a day my mouth looks like a grave yard don't drink, smoke or eat crap only find a dentist when in agony he has no fillings either what do you reckon?
Reply:i dont. :( its rubbish i know. then again, there are loads of countries where there is no national health service at all- in that sense we are lucky to have some semblance of one still in existance. If everyone were willing to pay more taxes, we could have a great one...but people arent, are ya, peeps?! I do think a lot of people in the UK feel we have a right to an NHS, which as citizens of the UK we do, in a sense, but its not a right that is recognised worldwide by any means so i think gripes about "this country" are a little unfair.
Reply:I dont it is one of the hardest things to get move and your luck will be surely out
Reply:i have a dentist but I'm to scared to go hahahahaha lol
just look at as many places as you can and dont give up
good luck x
Reply:I haven't got one. My husband had to wait six months for an emergency appointment, by which time he needed a fair amount of work doing. My daughter could not get an appointment all through her pregnancy and only got one afterwards because she was in pain.
Reply:I dont have a dentist, worst of all my 3 sons are intitled to nhs treatment but all the dentists round here have gone private,so they wont treat children, another place does treat children on the nhs but fillings cost between £50-£70..kinda sucks
Reply:Me!! i haven't,...... i sacked him!..lol
He quoted me £18,000 for 28 crowns so
i decided to go to Mexico after hearing good things about a lady dentist there.
Had a great holiday and it saved me 92% ,
my dental bill totalled £1200 for top quality porcelain crowns
I swear unless it's anything minor i wont ever go to a UK dentist again.
Hope this helps
Cheers
